Production Process of Stainless Steel Chemical Storage Container

 

The raw materials used for stainless steel storage tanks are typically 304 and 316L stainless steel. The raw materials must undergo strict quality testing before production begins. The cutting of stainless steel plates for storage tanks follows precise processes such as cutting, polishing, and rolling, performed according to the specified drawing dimensions.

 

The cut stainless steel plates are placed in a rolling mill for shaping, followed by assembly, installation, and welding. After welding, the concavity, verticality, and horizontality of the upper and lower openings of the tank wall must meet the required standards. Operators should be thoroughly familiar with the control system, operation methods, and workpiece bending processes.

 

Initially, the surface of the cylinder may be rough, unpolished, and show visible welding marks. At this stage, polishing is necessary to create a smooth and uniform surface.

 

Once the cylinder body is completed, the upper and lower covers, bases, and supports are assembled and welded. During this process, the concavity, verticality, and horizontality of the tank wall's openings must again be verified to meet the specified requirements.

 

The mixing device in a stainless steel storage tank is typically installed at the top. The base of the device is welded to the upper cover's opening, and the mixing device is secured to the base using a flange.

 

To test the integrity of the tank, an air compressor is used to check the pressure of the stainless steel tank sleeve.

 

After all components are welded and assembled, the final polishing is performed to ensure every detail of the stainless steel storage tank has a smooth, mirror-like finish.
